Thriller
Our Grade 7/8 students are once again planning a flash mob performance of “Thriller” at Victoria Square Mall. This is a completely voluntary activity that many of our students look forward to each year.

A big thank you to our Jack MacKenzie families who contributed food items for the FCC Drive Away Hunger campaign! Mrs. Aiginitis' Grade 4 class helped weigh bags and load them on to the FCC truck. We raised enough food to cover 600 meals!! WOW!! Thank you again for your generosity!
The SLC (Student Leadership Council) are putting together Halloween baskets to help raise money for the United Way. They are looking for donations to add to their baskets. The basket themes are:
Sports
Spa
Emoji
Games/Lego
Chocolate/Candy/Cookie Monster
Slime
Disney
The FCC website states, "When it comes to the basics, food is at the top of the list. While most of us are fortunate to have enough to eat, not everyone is so lucky. In fact, children make up over a third of those who rely on Canadian food banks."
We spent Tuesday morning celebrating Mr. MacKenzie's 90th birthday. We were joined by Mr. MacKenzie's extended family and friends. What a special morning for this awe-inspiring man! A big thank you to the SCC who put together the event and to all the parents who were up bright and early to come make pancakes and help serve at the tables. The smile on Mr.
