To more effectively manage enrolment growth, effective September 2025, every Regina Public elementary and high school will be assigned a level based on a number of factors such as physical space and teacher to student ratios. Potential enrolment of students residing outside of a school’s boundary area will be determined by these levels:
• Level 1: School has capacity. Open boundaries – school will accept students from both within and outside of the attendance boundary.
• Level 2: School, or certain grades/programs nearing capacity. Students from within attendance boundaries are accepted. Students from outside the attendance boundaries may only be accepted in certain grades, courses, or programs.
• Level 3: School is at capacity. Only students from within the school’s attendance boundary will be accepted.
