December is a busy month and will be especially busy for the SLC as they are planning several events. One of their bigger events is creating food hampers for families in need from Albert and Thomson Schools. They are hoping that each classroom at Jack MacKenzie School will fill a hamper with items for a Christmas meal. There will be a sign-up sheet at conferences for families to choose an item to donate if they wish to do so. If you sign up for a perishable food item, please do not send it to the school until Tuesday, December 19th, as that is the day in which the hampers will be delivered. There will be a note coming home about hampers in the next few days so please keep watch for that! Thank you in advance for your generosity during this festive season!
